: 8.30 am a short briefing on the hike and checking of equipment. Minibus from hotel to the gondola. Gondola to Ciampac, 2100m. ( one way ticket). From here onto path 645 for Pian de Siele, 2361m. (1 hr walk). From here, stay on the same path and descend to Val Grepa. Packed lunch and rest here ( nb: there are no refuges in this area). A 2 ½ hr walk takes you to Fontanazzo and from here back to the hotel through the valley along the river Avisio. Return to the hotel expected to be around 4 pm. Suitable clothing and equipment required.
