Rosengarten “Campo di Dio” (the field of God), with a view on the crags of Larsec, Malga Vael, the peaks of Mugoni, Latemar and the refuge Marino Pederiva, where local dishes are served.

Take the forest road to the mountain resort of Pecedac, then go up north, passing below Col de Salei. After crossing the ski run, walk at high altitude to the forest road 655: a truly exciting experience!

Naturalistic excursion in Val de Grepa
Take the cable railway (one way) to Ciampac (2100m – 6889ft). Walking for about 1 hour on the path 645 to Pian de Siele (2361m – 7746ft), then go down to Val de Grepa, where you can have a picnic (there are no refuges). Go on towards Fotanazzo, for about 2 hours an a half, then go back to the hotel through the valley floor near Avisio.

Ciamac – Passo San Nicolò – Malga Contrin
The excursion culminates in the guided visit to an alpine refuge at height of 2027m (6650ft), where you will find a big herd of animals: they arrive by the end of September to graze freely in the pasture valley of Contrin. The refuge is used in large part for producing butter, yoghurt, cheese and local sweets that you will also taste.

Its magnificent 1000m(3280ft)-massif dominates the town of Campitello di Fassa, to which it is connected by the homonym cable railway. It is possible to walk to the mountain from Campitello or Canazei and more quickly on the unpaved road starting from Passo Sella. Col Rodella also has a small via ferrata for beginners who want to try this sport.

The walk to Piz Boè is among the 3000 easier dolomitic excursions, as far as technical difficulties and altitude gap are concerned: taking the cable railway at Passo Pordoi you can reach Sass Pordoi in few minutes, at 2950m (9678ft). There are at least four ways to get to the peak, with different levels of difficulty.
